Country of Origin:
The Chihuahua (affectionately known as ‘Chi’) could descend either from tiny, bald Chinese puppies or the South American ‘Techichi’, a favorite pet that was buried with the deceased in the expectation they’d direct the way into the afterlife. Modern Chihuahuas hail from Chihuahua, Mexico. They are the dog breed along with the earliest North American strain. They rocketed to fame in the U.S when famous Latin celebrity Xavier Cugat created a Chihuahua his continuous people companion, and stay extremely popular for this day. Famous Chihuahuas comprise the Taco Bell Chihuahua, Ren from ‘Ren and Stimpy’, and Ducky, the 2007 ‘Guinness Book of World Records’ winner for ‘World’s Smallest Living Dog’.

Size:
The Chihuahua has a shoulder height of 15-23 cm (6-9 in) and weighs 1-3 kg (2-5.5 pounds). Chihuahuas have an apple shaped head with feet, large ears, and a pointy muzzle. The tail can curve across side or the back.

Coat:
The Chihuahua may have a short or long coat. A number of colors are acceptable, such as sand. A number of designs such as sprays and sable are possible. The selection of possibilities makes difficult.

Character:
Chihuahuas are smart, graceful, and at times too brave for their own good. They generally bond with only 1 person and be highly devoted, often kissing the proprietor’s face (with or without consent). The Chihuahua is reserved around strangers and might try to shield their owner, usually. Chihuahuas are very lively, joyful, and stubborn.

Temperament:
Chihuahuas can normally reside with other cats and dogs without any difficulty. They get with Chihuahuas. It’s very important to interact the Chihuahua as a pup to prevent aggressiveness. Children may respect the Chihuahua and it can be caused by their teasing to bite or snap. It’s preferable to not depart the Chihuahua with kids unless they supervised or are educated.

Care:
Chihuahuas need regular grooming with a brush and comb for their long coat. The Chihuahua’s claws have to be kept trimmed, and its teeth have to be checked for tartar buildup. Chihuahuas get cold easily and need to be kept in a warm atmosphere. The nose can cause snoring or wheezing. The Chihuahua shouldn‘t be overfed. A place is on the cover of the skull; maturity is normal and usually closes that. The Chihuahua has a lifetime at 14-18 decades.

Training:
Although they’re usually not educated due to their small dimensions, Chihuahuas are happy to learn. The Chihuahua may need attempt and patience to housebreak they’re only paper.

Activity:
Chihuahuas can normally get all of the exercises they require by conducting around inside. It needs to be permitted to walk instead of transported from room to room if the puppy gets obese. Chihuahuas might be obtained for walks but aren’t a strain.
